30 New Ways to Get Your Products in Front of Customers
Increase the visibility of your products on Amazon.com by providing additional attributes when you submit your product information.
You can now include up to 30 optional fields of important product data in your feed. To find out which attributes work best for your products, download the new template and data definitions or read about each option in Help. Electronics sellers may benefit by including Computer CPU speed, Digital Camera Resolution, and Display size for their products. Whereas Jewelry sellers may want to include gender, band material, metal type and ring size.
Regardless of what category your products are in, all sellers should include brand, manufacturer, multiple images, bullet points and keywords to help customers find and learn more about your product on Amazon.com. New or unique products added to Amazon.com will benefit the most from additional attribute data. If a detail page already exists in our catalog, we may use the information you provide to supplement the existing page, though the information you provide may not always be used.
The downloadable feed template in Seller Central describes all available attributes you can add to your feed.

Strongly Recommended Fields include- Brand, Department, UPC, Image, Description, Manufacturer, Manufacturer part number. Examples of our Recommended fields include- Age, Band material, color, Color and finish, Computer CPU speed, and Computer memory size. Learn more about all additional data fields here.

Use Your Google Base Feed to Upload to Product Ads
If you already sell on Google Base, you can now upload your
product .txt file to list on Product Ads. At this time we
do not support any of the XML versions of the Google Base
files.
Simply follow these few steps and get started
today.
1. Log into Seller Central
2. Click on PRODUCTS tab in Seller Central
3. Select Upload Product Ads from the top navigation.
4. Use the dropdown menu in Step 1 to select "Upload Google Base File".

5. Find your file and click "upload".

You can also add attributes to your Google Base
feed (.txt). This is a good way to improve categorization
and display richer product pages to Amazon.com
customers. If you do not have Category data in
your Google Base feed or wish to exclude products
from listing on Product Ads, consider adding these
attributes to your file. Create custom fields in
your feed and include information like Brand, Department,
UPC, Image, Description, Manufacturer, and Manufacturer
Part Number. Learn how to add these enhanced attributes
in Google Base support.

August's Top Tip
"Help customers find your products more easily by providing detailed product titles in your feed. Your product titles should include the brand, model, type of product, size, color, and variation type if applicable. For example, if you are listing a sofa a descriptive product title would be, "Strathwood Camano All-Weather Wicker Sofa." Also,
remember to include UPC codes in your
feed if they are available. This is the
only way to guarantee that your products
will be searchable on Amazon.com."

Optimize Your Product Ads
What they see is what they get. Amazon
customers expect to see the same offer
and product information when they click
to your website. Make sure to update
your feed daily to ensure you are reflecting
current prices, availability and selection.
Consider using FTP to
help manage your feed uploads.
Be a max-i-ma-list. By listing
your entire inventory, you'll be able
to attract more customers to your site.
Selection is key to driving traffic to
your website.
